Idyllically located on the way up to the Breitenstein and Geigelstein peaks, at 1100m above Schleching-Ettenhausen
on the border to Austria and far away from civilization, the Berghotel Breitenstein is uniquely situated within the Geigelstein
Nature Reserve. Our neighbors are grazing cows and the "Almbauern" as well as the unique flora and fauna. The location
inspires to mountain climbing, long hikes or mountain biking as well as skiing, sledding or snowshoe tours - and all right
from your front door! In addition, it's not far to go cross-country skiing in the Achen Valley or to enjoy one of the many
skiing areas within a 30 minute drive from Schleching.
